Chateauneuf-de-Randon Bastard Sword

This sword owes its name to Bertrand Du Guesclin, called the “Eagle of Brittany”, the tenacious old general who drove Chateauneuf-De-Randon during 1380. Thus France that was highly dependent on desperate guerrilla war was finally able to field a large army against the English invaders. The sword features parts in steel with an etched pattern on the pommel. The wooden grip and the scabbard are wrapped in marbled dark brown leather. The blade is well-tempered in high carbon steel blade and is etched three-quarters down the fuller with a period floral pattern. Brown leather sword belt and scabbard are available along with the sword. The sword can be sharpened for additional fee.
