Falco Main Gauche

This example derives from an interesting group of swords and daggers, which evolved in Italy around 1600 and were popular for the first half of the 17th century. Sometimes known as crab claw or winged claw hilts for their multiple down turned guards, that feature in this example is particularly effective as it provides a means of capturing an opponents blade creating the opportunity for a counter thrust. A beautiful finial pommel, a multi-wrapped metal chain grip and a matching scabbard covered in soft black leather make this one formidable opponent. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts. Can be sharpened for additional fee.
