Detail: The typical nasal helmet comprised of a bowl covering the head with a prominent nose guard. These helmets were worn by the Normans (the descendants of Norse Vikings) in battles and usually referred to as Norman nasal helmets.In ancient times, these helmets were either made of iron or leather to save cost or a combination of both. Our replicas of Norman nasal helmets are made of polyurethane, and are perfect for almost any type of re-enactment possibilities. The tough, lightweight material is nearly indestructible, while offering the look of real metal with no rust. It is indeed the best of both worlds. To make it safer for use, it also features a soft adjustable lining and a chinstrap, for tougher situations. These helmets are resilient, adjustable and the best part one size fit most.
