Description

The early Norman mace was a lightweight weapon that could easily break bones and cave in a leather Saxon helm. We’ve reappropriated this historic design and turned it into a conversation-provoking device you can use every day.

If you appreciate military history, you may be familiar with the early Norman mace. It was a lightweight weapon that could easily break bones and cave in a leather Saxon helm. We’ve reappropriated this historic design and turned it into a conversation-provoking device you can use every day.  The solid cast steel head is a replica of an actual museum piece and has multiple blunt spikes and rope decorations. It’s also given an “aged'” finish. The steamed beech wood shaft is stained dark brown with a rubber tip at the bottom. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts.
