Description
Mounted on a 7′ long pole, the halberd was swung with both hands at an opponent. It was used as a spear, axe or to pull a knight from his horse. The halberd contributed its lethal capabilities to European skirmishes across more than 3 centuries (1300-1630).
Our Swiss halberd head is hand-forged of tough, high carbon steel by the master armorers at Windlass Steelcrafts. It can be mounted on a wooden dowel from your local hardware or home supply store.
